On a historic night in New York City on June 21, 2022, something groundbreaking occurred. Creatress Sarai Mora was the first 3D sculptor of Indigenous decent to give a VR Performance at Nebula Nightclub, in partnership with the awards during the NFT NYC awards after-party, and the energy was electric. The DJ, EV, brought the crowd to their feet with their music, inspiring a 3D sculpture that was created in real-time by Creatress. The result was a unique blend of art, music, and technology that left everyone in awe of what they experienced and co-created by sharing energy.

What made this event so special was the way the DJ and sponsor logos were seamlessly overlaid in real-time with the artist’s 3D sculpture. It was a perfect example of how art and technology can blend together to create an experiential event that is truly unique and memorable. This type of collaboration opens up so many possibilities for future use cases of this technology and can be expanded to include collectibles for attendees post event as well.
As the night went on, the energy continued to build, and the crowd danced into the early hours of the morning. It was clear that this event was just the beginning of something truly special. By leveraging the synergies between art, music, and VR technology, the potential for capturing and preserving these shared experiences for years to come is limitless.
As a creator I dream of performing in many more world class nightclubs, festivals and concert halls alongside the world’s best musicians. Each musicians’ music will inspire a different type of sculpture, as each song, style and artist, even note contains a unique vibrational code waiting to be expressed in a physical form.

The artwork created during this performance was minted on Creatress’ custom manifold contract and collected by the GoblinGurlz Collective, Crowd Nebula is an abstract 3D sculpture inspired by the subtle energy of the people in the space where it was created, considering the science of electromagnetic communication; each heart present at the performance was creating its own magnetic field that could be subtly affecting the overall energy of the room. The subtle vibrations created by each heart are then transmuted or translated by the artist into shapes and colors which is what makes up the final sculpture; an homage to this specific place, time and living energy of the night.
This performance was the second time an audience member broke the “5th wall” and spontaneously danced with Creatress during the performance. See Crowd Nebula here, it’s not listed on the secondary market at this time but offers can be made at any time, actual sales will be up to the discretion of the current collector.
In conclusion, the first-ever VR performance at Nebula Nightclub was a night to remember. It showcased the power of collaboration and creativity and opened up new possibilities for the future of art and technology. We can’t wait to see what other groundbreaking events will be created in the future.
